Our Methodology

How We Approach Every Watch

Before any tools are applied, we assess. Before any spend is incurred, we discuss. Before any watch leaves, we verify. This sequence does not change regardless of which service level is chosen.

1

Receive & Assess

Watch is received, logged, and carefully examined. A written assessment is prepared.

2

Agree Scope

Findings and recommendations shared with owner. Work proceeds only on agreement.

3

Service & Verify

Work performed to agreed scope. Movement timed, case sealed, water resistance tested.

4

Return & Record

Watch returned with a written service record summarising all work performed.

Exterior & Functional Care

Polish & Protect

MYR 1,650

A focused service addressing the exterior condition and basic functional elements of a watch. The watchmaker cleans and lightly polishes the case and bracelet, inspects and replaces the crystal where it shows chips or deep scratches, tests the crown and pushers, evaluates the battery or winding system, and reseals the case with fresh gaskets.

A considerate service for watches that look and feel as though they could use some gentle attention. The owner receives a brief written note summarising what was observed and addressed.

Movement & Exterior Overhaul

Cabinet Service

MYR 4,500

Recommended

A thorough, museum-standard service of both the watch movement and its exterior. Named after the display cabinets in which fine watches are preserved, this service brings a timepiece to a condition befitting careful display and regular wear.

The calibre is fully disassembled and each component enters a careful process of cleaning, inspection, and assessment. Worn elements are replaced, pivots are checked for trueness, and all functional surfaces are freshly lubricated. The movement is reassembled, timed, and regulated. A fitting service for watches the owner takes pride in wearing.

Premium Full Restoration

Grand Feu Restoration

MYR 8,900

Named after the demanding grand feu enamel technique — which requires multiple kiln firings, each one irreversible — this service reflects a similar commitment to layered, patient, considered work. It is offered for watches of considerable craft or personal importance.

The process opens with a detailed consultation and condition report. Restoration may encompass full movement overhaul, dial conservation or refinishing, hand repair or replacement, case and bracelet renewal, and crown fitting. Every decision is made in partnership with the owner. Photographic records accompany each phase. Original components are preserved wherever it is possible to do so.
